Trinity House School remains very proud of its history and traditions and our motto ‘Spes Super Sydera’ (Hope beyond the Stars) still neatly sums up our schools aims. Similarly our mission statement ‘Striving together to achieve excellence’ also illustrates the schools clear determination to work with the pupils, parents, and anyone else that can help to provide every child who is educated at our school with the best possible education. We like to think that carrying on many of the traditions of the school, which have developed over the last  200 plus years, is not only part of our duty but a means by which we maintain the schools significant reputation both in and beyond the City of Kingston upon Hull.

As a very small secondary school with clear links to the Corporation of Hull Trinity House and the Trinity House Rest Holmes we like to see our selves as a large family.

Without doubt, the Brethren of Trinity House School who act as our foundation governors, have looked after us as the school has grown and promise to continue to do so as the school seeks further expansion and a move to newly built accommodation in the centre of the city.

The school constantly aims to keep pace with educational change but equally strenuously avoids  developments that we see as not going to enhance the educational experience of our pupils. We like to think we offer a modern education in a traditional environment which is underpinned by mutual respect, trust and high expectations.
