Welcome to the Design & Technology department.

The department has two rooms, a general purpose workshop and a new electronics lab.  We can work with metal, wood, plastics and electronics.  We have some computer controlled machines as well as the more traditional pillar drills, lathes and routers.  We have a small number of PC’s in the rooms and we use the schools ICT rooms when we need to.

Each year group is split into three teaching groups for Design and Technology to ensure we have no more than 20 pupils in a group.  Each group will have three 50 minute lessons a week, a double lesson and a single lesson.
